The game mechanics and rule set feature exciting game play from the first dice roll. Each player will be allowed to field a posse of 3 to 40 models. The WWX rules have been designed to allow for scaling of the game to high or low model counts while maintaining a dynamic and fast-paced game tempo. In the twilight years of the Nineteenth Century, mankind is perched upon a new age of discovery and enlightenment. But beneath the hope and optimism, a rising darkness taints the air, touching the heart of every man, woman, and child. The United States has clawed its way out of a terrible civil war, but the wounds are deep. The nation finds itself poised on the edge of ruin, the agony of division eating at its very marrow. Into this dark time a light of hope emerges, carried from the Old World by Dr. Burson Carpathian, scientist, visionary, and would-be savior. But Dr. Carpathian, too, follows a path laid out for him by the darkest of powers: a force of remorseless corruption. The Dark Council. Wild West Exodus is a dynamic, fast-paced semi-skirmish game in a world very much like our own, but twisted by the forces of deepest evil. An advanced D10 system is coupled with an innovative Influence mechanic to simulate the powers of the Dark Council upon their unwitting pawns. Players must choose how they will gamble with the power of their patrons: spread the Influence throughout a turn, hoping to ease destiny onto a brighter path, or hold the influence, to be entirely cast upon one roll of the dice?. The Watchers have been observing humanity for thousands of years. A pan-galactic group they consist of dozens of species all working together to a common cause. Their standing order is not to involve themselves in the affairs of a sentient species until they reach a level of technological and cultural sophistication. Once this level is reached, the Watchers reveal themselves and the world is honoured by joining the Watcher Hegemony. On Earth there is something wrong. Outside and alien influences are interfering with humanity's development. Technologies are available that are decades, if not centuries, beyond their time. A small force of Watchers has been despatched to the Earth to investigate and deal with the alien threat. Humanity must be protected from outsiders at all costs. But what is humanity to make of their would-be saviours? The Viridian play an important role in the Watchers. Deployed as airborne Chigoe assault units or as fire support Locust teams, the Viridian excel at targeted strikes. To assist in these roles, the Hegemony has enhanced the species natural chitin into armoured plates that provide a degree of protection against small arms fire and bladed weapons. The Viridian Locusts / Chigoe kit builds three multi-part plastic miniatures and includes enough options to enable any of the three miniatures to be built as either a Viridian Chigoe or a Viridian Locust.
