Many of you probably remember me for my hand crafted Birdhouses, Duck houses, Bird and Deer Feeders etc. Well, I had to step away for a few years to go to another job, but I again have the time to bring you back my quality cedar products you have come to know and love! Each Duck house is hand crafted in the USA by me using 3/4” thick Solid Cedar! These are not 5/8”, they are a SOLID 3/4” thick. The listing pictures may show 1 or several houses in one photo. This listing is for one Duck House Details of my Duck house(s): Note that my design has the DROP DOWN Door (top opening)! This allows you to open it just a touch to peek in and monitorwithout disturbing the ducks or nest below. This beautiful, hand-made Duck House is hand crafted for you one at a time!It is made entirely of 3/4" cedar. Nice and Solid!All edges are glued together and screwed making this a sturdy house!The front door of this duck house is swings down for easy monitoring and cleaning.With having the door swing (drop) down, it allows you to take a look inside for monitoring without disrupting the ducks or the nest. Overall dimensions of this owl box are approx 11" wide x approx 23.75" tall x approx 14" Deep including the Roof overhang.Made in the USA!Wood Ducks and Mergansers have tough competition with other birds for natural cavities because they are so small.So when you supply them with a nice cozy home, they typically will return year after year. ***I use all 1 ¼” exterior rated galvanized nails and screws for each house*** ***Pre-Drilled Mounting holes (Screws not included)*** ***The hole is Elliptical at 3" x 4"*** **Drainage Holes in the floor** **Vented above the door as well for good air** There are Kerf Cuts the length of the inside front panel for making it easier for the young ones to get to the hole. NO SHIPPING TO PO BOXES OR OUTSIDE THE LOWER 48 PLEASE UNDERSTAND that this is all Natural real Cedar. It will have splinters, knots, various colors (including graying), grains, dirt, cracks, scratches, holes, twists, turns, bows, etc. etc. It’s wood! When it’s outside it can get wet or dry, which can cause it to have the chance to split, warp, crack, blow away, etc. Nothing leaves my shop that I didn’t craft myself with the best quality cedar I can supply to you, so please rest assure!I dry and store my cedar outside, sometimes there can be graying on the boards... Anything that is grayor has a gray tint to it will be placed towards the back, bottom or inside of the bluebird house. Ive also had requests for all gray (aged look birdhouses)..
