Description: No minimum order required to buy tools from me! *This tool fits Wurlitzer EP capstans BETTER THAN ANY OTHER TOOL available today. Others are too WIDE, and are softer metal. This is a brand new Let Off capstan regulation tool for Wurlitzer EP, fits all models in the 140 series,(140-147) the entire 200 series,including the 270, and the upright model 720. (A and B). The model 270 is the butterfly grand. It also adjusts the lower lost motion capstan in these models. This tool also adjusts the key capstans (only) on the older 100 series models as well. This tool does not fit the letoff adjustment for the 120 series, 700, or 112A. I sell that tool in another listing. This tool will adjust the key capstans (hammer line) only on these models. In 90%+ of the Wurlitzers I've seen, the hammers are letting off too early, making it impossible to play the keys with a light touch. In this case, you want to raise the capstans that trip the jacks, by turning the capstan left to right. ( the capstans are upside down) Turn them a little at a time and test the keys as you go. Hammers will block against the reeds if turned too far, which can cause broken reeds. This tool also adjusts the key capstans on some acoustic pianos, but I do not have a list of which pianos it will fit. If you have ANY doubt on if this tool will work with your electric piano, please email me first. *The tool is hard steel, and is angled to easily adjust both capstans. Wrench may be gently bent if you desire to lessen the angle. It is FAR superior to the long silver colored flat tools that others sell. This tool is a harder metal and grips the capstans perfectly, and doesn't get chewed up after a few uses. The angle makes it easier to access the capstans than the flat tools. The other tools are designed for acoustic pianos and have a very large (wide) end that makes it difficult to fit between parts in a Wurlitzer EP.
