Description: WWI Imperial German Trench Knife measuring 10.5" overall with a blade length of 5.5". Very good showing a couple of tiny nicks on blade edge one inch from the ricasso. The Point end of blade on the right side also shows a chip/nick. Original wood handle shows a tight hairline crack on the left side underneath the guard, and one also on the left side underneath the handle center. Wood shows some wear, use, scratches. Ricasso has makers mark of "ERN WALK RHEINL" on one side, opposite side stamped, "RASIERMESSSER FABRIK". The guard wiggles a bit, Scabbard is dent free with a brown age patina with some remaining scattered black paint, also comes with a leather frog showing some wear, use, loss.
