Description: Original vintage June 1944 Daily Situation Map of China, Korea, Thailand, French Indochina, Borneo, Sumatra and surrounding area. Marked Restricted. Evidently shows air facilities as a note states only a portion are shown. There are handwritten notes marking islands such as Okinawa and correcting a name. The chart is from the estate of a naval pilot and air combat intelligence officer who was there and brought it back. About 9" x 14". Good condition with large toned areas on front and back. Has been folded. A rare map and an awesome addition to any collection. I ship every day the post office is open with your item safely packed for protection.
