The stone has a dazzling display of bright rainbow - like coloring with bright flashes and sparkles. This could be considered a color changing gemstone, as different shades shift and move within it's surface. This would make an impressive pendant or large piece of jewelry. This is a naturally earth mined gemstone and has been coated with a titanium chemical vapor distribution method (CVD) to produce a spectacular rainbow effect. The process is permanent and requires no special care. The gem is fully transparent and has very good clarity, especially considering its size.
