These timeless earrings are highly detailed with preciously cut stones surrounded by skillfully crafted sterling and raindrop silver tips. A wonderful example of mosaic inlay seen in the Sunface-this form of Inlay can be rather tricky and less forgiving than Channel Inlay as the pieces must fit snug against each other with no inclusion of silver between each cut. Stones present: White Mother of Pearl, Coral, Turquoise and Jet all meticulously hand cut and inlaid in precise fashion. Surrounding the saw-tooth bezel set Sunface is a head dress consisting of six petit point shaped saw tooth bezel turquoise stones adorned top to bottom with silver representing raindrops. Marked sterling on screw backs. Unfortunately, the earrings do not show the artists’ hallmark which is common for these vintage pieces…Such a shame…beautiful Native American craftsmanship, and no signature to show for it.
